Poject Details

This is a high tech multi-function facility for DM Management, the corporate structure for a women’s clothing mail order service. The building houses 40,000 SF of office space within a two story vaulted and skylit structure that is attached to the operations and distribution center by a two story link. This link encloses a multi-purpose dining area that overlooks a landscaped patio. Above the dining area is a fitness center that has views of the New Hampshire landscape through skylight dormers.

The building is also equipped with its own call center to receive incoming orders. The call center is central to the facility and allows immediate handling of the orders directly to the distribution center. The distribution center handles the order via a sophisticated material handling system that speeds the delivery of the selection to the customer. The shipping and receiving area is immediately adjacent to and within the 450,000 SF distribution center. The building is constructed of tilt-up concrete with a standing seam metal roof over the office and dining link.

When first and lasting impressions mean everything, corporations turn to M+H Architects to convey the image that gives the company its unique identity.

When UniGroup acquired Mayflower Transit, their Fenton, Missouri campus had an immediate need for expansion. M+H was selected to design the 190,000sf building for their corporate headquarters. The final product is reflective of the company's growth, while maintaining an aesthetic consistent with the corporate campus image.

DM Management, designer and distributor of women's ready-to-wear by catalog, wanted a new office/distribution facility that would enhance efficiency as well as provide an environment that would express a "sense of community." Sensitive to their corporate philosophy and culture, M+H designed their new state-of-the-art office/distribution facility in Tilton, New Hampshire, with fully automated call center, full service dining area, and a fitness center.

In Pittsburgh, the Cutler Hammer Corporation needed a new corporate headquarters that could represent their high technology electronics. Our team's creative response was a 140,000sf, three-story office building that conveys Cutler Hammer's commitment to innovative electronic technology through interactive equipment and authentic product displays.
