French Gerleman ~ Interior Tenant Finish Renovation
Poject DetailsFrench Gerleman, a 40 year old electrical distribution company, had outgrown their existing facility and was inefficiently operating in two buildings across the street from each other. The O’Toole and M+H team worked with French Gerleman to design a new 174,000 SF state-of-the art facility in an existing building not too far from their current location. As a part of the new concept, a new Customer Center that serves as a training, demonstration, meeting and social center not only for customers, but for vendors and employees was designed. Within the Customer Center there are two training rooms seating up to 130 and three conference rooms fully equipped with audio/video and wireless internet service. The training rooms also feature a product demonstration wall for proof of concepts.
Approximately 41,500 SF within the existing building was renovated for office space. Employees, previously in compartmentalized departments with high panel walls, were now brought together in a more open and updated collaborative environment. New workstation standard layouts were developed with lower panel walls and open meeting spaces allowing for flexibility and a more productive work place. Now they are set for the future and looking towards growth and opportunities. |
