The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis ~ Master Plan

M+H Architects  and Davis Street Land Company have completed Phase I and II of this multi-phase Lifestyle Retail Center. Comprised of 50 acres of land, the Center is the new focal point for the City and has successfully attracted some of the country’s leading specialty retailers and restaurants to meet the growing demand within St. Charles County. The Master Plan for Phase I focused on a central key element that includes a clock tower and plaza with pergola. The plaza serves as a central meeting place and has a band stand for special events. Phase II includes the addition of Missouri’s first Von Maur Department Store with a linked parking structure. Von Maur is the northern anchor to the plan and is centered on the major pedestrian axis.  The master plan has an outer circumferential road that allows easy access to parking and outlots. The plan included extensive landscaping for the protection and enhancement of adjacent residential housing to the east.

Future phases include an ensemble of feature restaurant sites collected around a central water element with pier and water fountain. This large water feature will amplify an appealing exterior with patios and decks for a leisurely waterside dining experience. The Architecture of the center is a classic, prairie style design, utilizing premium materials and quality workmanship. Additional retail sites are located on axis to the clock tower plaza and provide great visibility from I-64 into the center and the retail shops.
